Practical Information for Attendees

 

 


Poster Information
The available poster boards are 8 feet (width) by 4 feet (height). You can consider either portrait or landscape orientation for your posters. The recommended poster size is 3 feet by 4 feet (portrait) or 4 feet by 3 feet (landscape).

Venues
  • All lectures will be held in Strong Hall, room 101(1621 Cumberland Ave)
  • The poster session will take place on the second floor of the Student Union, Ballroom 272 (1502 Cumberland Ave)
  • The conference banquet dinner will be held at the Jackson Terminal (213 W Jackson Ave)




Lunch Options
There are several lunch options available near Strong Hall, even though the Symposium coincides with the University's Fall break. Please note that most University of Tennessee dining facilities will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, October 6-7. For your convenience, we have compiled a list of nearby alternatives:
